The title refers to the of the two figures being an allegory of the two mountains on the horizon and in this way they are connected with the eternal presence of the earth.It is inspired from the farewell scene ,in Homer’s Iliad ,of Hector andromachi and their child Astyanax.In this image the story is told by the child who is experiencing the consequences of the war and the warriors archetype is deconstructed as it is presented in hidden in fear ,in an image deprived of descriptive elements having to do with specific time and place .There are various techniques used on linen who have a transparency to leave the drawing prevail as a means of the narrative.
