A drawing on a c-print on canvas.For the hands of the child i used a digital photograph and for the drawings pencil and gesso.The work was executed on a single piece of canvas and mounted on a wood frame.An aditional wood construction was added creating a diptych .
The story told ,is the one of the childs memory , composing the incidents of war in a narrative .The tragety of the story is indicated with emphasis on the two innocent hands sarrounded by blue-the color of the sky and gold the symbolic color of the sun.

Ships in a tube
This item will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube.This method is especially safe for oversized works, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Upon immediate delivery, we highly recommend you send any works on paper directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork.
